Description

Vintage Stoneware Spoon Rest Fratelli Fanciullaci Italy Cooking Accessory.... Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Vintage 1940's - 1966, most likely 1950's, not positive. 1 1/8" H, 3 5/8" L, 4 1/8" W. Beige stoneware with hand carved red, green, yellow, and orange floral decor. Gently folded edges to a once round shape. Possibly a Raffaellesco pattern from the Italian Renaissance period, not sure. This company was started by Raffaello Fanciullaci in 1862. Sadly they ceased all operations in 1988. Marked on bottom Italy FF. This piece does have wear to orange glaze around the edges, see pics. On top side 3 small surface chips, not bad, see pics. On bottom side at folded areas are 2 large chips, see pics. Not as noticeable due to location but can be seen. A beautiful piece of Italian history. No cracks or crazing. Fair condition. Somewhat rare and hard to find. Very unique. I accept most offers.
