RARE Surefire 660 Weapon Light 90’s BHD Era NEW Barrel Mount ~U04T Flag Switch!

This is the rarest Surefire 660 weaponlight I’ve ever seen. It is a very early incandescent 6 volt model issued and used in the early 90’s and after, until later models came out. This was made when Laser Products was still the name of the parent company and SureFire was the flashlight and weaponlight division, from what I have read. It has the old model shock isolated bezel without the Surefire name or serial number on it, as well as the first model smooth body (battery housing) with no knurling (extremely hard to find). This is exactly what I have seen mounted on rifles in old combat photos, including those taken before and after the battle of Mogadishu, also known as the Blackhawk Down military era.
So in case you’re wondering how in the world is the light on in the photos without squeezing the pressure pad on the tape switch, let me explain. This 660 weapon light features what is known as a U04T flag switch! It’s the only one I’ve ever seen in person. It features an aluminum rotating switch on the rear that allows you to turn the light on full-time (constant on), or leave it off (normal mode) and use the built-in pressure cable switch. This, like the early non-marked bezel, smooth (no knurling) body, and the brand new “just out of the package” barrel mount kit, are all early Laser Products (Surefire division) parts. I discovered when I opened this Laser Products barrel mount kit, that this was not your ordinary mount. This thing is thick, and I would guess twice as heavy as your later standard model Surefire barrel mounts. Anyway, I am including the original package to the barrel mount kit (as seen in the photos). I am also including new Surefire batteries. The M10 Weaver mount looks great as well, and features socket head screws, which I know is important to some. I honestly don’t think you’ll ever see another one like this for sale, which is why I am asking so much for it.
Please look at the many pictures for condition and ask any questions you might have before purchasing. I took as many pictures as I’m allowed at different angles and different lighting so the buyer could get a clear picture of this. As with most old Surefire weapon lights, there are some scratches, nicks, wear, imperfections, flaws and finish loss in places, as this was used. The good news is that it was well taken care of. There are some small places on the lens too, but nothing that interferes with its function. In fact, the lens looks really good to me considering it is used. The pressure cable (tape switch) and pressure pad has some wear and issues on the rubber cover to the cable, and mostly on the edge of the pressure pad. I tried to show this in the pictures, but it’s hard to get these little things to show up in the photos. Again, it all looks fairly good to me considering it’s age and the use it has seen. Only the rare complete 660 weapon light you see with the barrel mount kit package / screws shown, as well as 2 brand new Surefire batteries.
